Ready for racing in Bergen

Had to do a repair to my rudders after getting hit by another boat right before the start line in the first heat in Bergen.

This is Leif Ellingsen`s WildCat. The fastest Zenoah-boat in Norway; 109 km/h. But in race-setup, it`s a little nicer, but still extremly fast.

This is Mr. Helge Haugen`s Thunderbolt from ExpressCraft Boats. Even with the old Zenoah 231, this boat is extremly fast. Helge got into the roostertail of "OFF TOPIC" when we raced in Bergen last year. The result was that Helge`s Thunderbolt was thrown up high in the air. Sorry, Helge, but our rooster is powerfull! ;-) So don`t try to pass us again....

Even a hardcore raceboat needs some tender, love & care sometimes.

And then there was NC5 at our home pond again...

"Off Topic" & "Donzi"; newly polished & ready for racing.

Discussion in the team about tactics, just minuttes before start

"Off Topic" is ready to go. Jon is on his way up to the drivers stand. Hilde is getting ready to launch the boat. Our nerves is in "battle modus" and the adrenalin is flowing. Life can`t be any better than this. ;-)

Here we go! There`s no way back now! "GO GET`EM!"

Notis Stin`s Avenger, laying there with the bottom up. Passed it on the inside for 3-4 rounds, with Nilsen Racing coming fast from behind.

But all things have to come to an end..... The last passing of Stin`s Avenger ended in a crash... There just was`nt enoght space... :-(

But even if the crash was very hard, the boat came out of it with minimal damage. The boats designer; Mr. Leif Rasmussen inspects the damage.

Hilde`s Donzi battling with Mr. Kai Braaten in his "Hydrolift Cosmic"

Hilde ended in a great 11th place out of 24 at this race. Great result, as she`s the only girl in this "circus", and this was her second race! Look how prowd she is! ;-) That`s the kinda` girls we like!

The above pic shows the start of the first heat in our class at NC2 in Arendal. "OFF TOPIC TOO" is coming out of the turn as number 4 and got a great start
